Account Deletion

Effective date: April 30, 2026

Guardian Alert users can request deletion of their account and associated data at any time.

Delete your account in the app

The fastest way to delete your account is inside Guardian Alert:

  1. Open the Guardian Alert app.
  2. Sign in to your account if needed.
  3. Open Settings.
  4. Select Delete account.
  5. Confirm the deletion prompt.

When confirmed, Guardian Alert deletes your account from the service and signs you out of the app. Deleting your Guardian Alert account does not cancel any App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your store account.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email guardianalert.app@agentmail.to from the email address associated with your Guardian Alert account and ask us to delete your account.

We may need to verify that you control the account email address before completing an email-based deletion request.

Account deletion removes data associated with your Guardian Alert account, including:

Data we may retain

We may retain limited operational, security, delivery, backup, billing, subscription, or legal records only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, protect the service, honor active subscriptions, support restore requests, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements. Retained records are not used to keep your deleted account active.

If you delete your account while an App Store or Google Play subscription is active, Guardian Alert may retain a limited billing recovery record for the subscription period plus a short recovery window (currently up to 90 days). This record is limited to information needed to reconnect an active store subscription if you return or ask us for support.
